Local Game Data
NIBU stores progress in the app's local WebView storage. This may include your pet name, Stardust, care stats, Bond, progression, inventory, garden, cosmetics, minigame records, Journal, goals, event and Season Track progress, settings, reminders and local entitlement records.
The current local save key is nibu.save.v1 and the current format is schema 11. NIBU does not upload this game save to a developer server. Android or Google backup may copy eligible app data according to your device and Google account settings.
Optional Diagnostics and Analytics
"Help improve NIBU" is off by default. If enabled, Firebase Analytics may receive a small fixed set of bounded gameplay events. NIBU does not send your pet name, save file, free text, raw purchase token or payment details as analytics.
With the same consent, Firebase Crashlytics may receive crash details, device/app information and a bounded WebView error message. Disabling the setting stops future collection and requests deletion of unsent crash reports on the device.
Remote Config may retrieve conservative operational settings such as ad frequency caps or emergency kill switches. App Check with Play Integrity helps protect purchase verification from abuse.
Accounts and Cloud Save
NIBU has no account registration, social login or developer-hosted cloud save. If you uninstall NIBU, clear app data or change devices, local progress may be lost unless Android restores eligible app data. Supported purchases can be restored through Google Play.
Purchases and Cozy Club
NIBU offers optional one-time purchases and an optional automatically renewing monthly subscription called Cozy Club through Google Play Billing. Cozy Club renews unless cancelled in Google Play. Cancellation normally leaves access active through the paid period, subject to Google Play rules.
Google Play processes payment details. NIBU sends the package name, product identifier, product type and Play purchase token to a protected Firebase function for verification. The service stores only a SHA-256 token hash, product, status, update time and subscription expiry where applicable.
Advertising
NIBU uses Google Mobile Ads for optional rewarded ads and limited interstitial ads at natural breaks. Interstitials are suppressed for No Ads owners and active Cozy Club members. Rewarded ads remain voluntary.
Google Mobile Ads may process IP address or general location, device or advertising identifiers, app and ad interactions, diagnostics, performance and fraud-prevention information. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Consent and Privacy Choices
NIBU requests current consent information through Google UMP before requesting ads where required. Ads are requested only after the SDK reports that ads may be requested. A Privacy Choices entry appears in Settings when Google requires an options form.
Notifications
NIBU can schedule optional local reminders for rewards, bedtime, streaks, care and events. These are scheduled on the device and can be disabled in NIBU or Android settings. NIBU does not use a developer push-notification server.
Data NIBU Does Not Request
NIBU does not request precise GPS location, contacts, SMS or call logs, camera, microphone, photos or videos. It has no chat, public profile, social feed or user-content upload feature.
Target Audience
NIBU is positioned for a general audience aged 13 and older. It is not directed specifically at children under 13. The app contains optional advertising and purchases.
Your Choices and Deletion
You can play without an account, decline rewarded ads, use available UMP choices, disable reminders, avoid purchases, manage Cozy Club in Google Play, restore supported purchases and erase local progress using Start Fresh or Android's Clear storage control.
NIBU has no remote game profile to delete. Minimal pseudonymous purchase-verification records are retained to prevent duplicate grants and reconcile refunds, cancellations and renewals. Contact the developer for privacy requests concerning developer-controlled records.
Security, Retention and Changes
Local progress remains on the device until cleared or handled by uninstall and Android backup behavior. Network traffic used by Google SDKs follows those SDKs' transport-security practices. This policy may change when NIBU's features, SDKs or data practices change; the effective date will be updated.
